Description
All excursions include a hotel room (single or double occupancy depending on your booking) the night prior to departure, all ferry passages, all gear as needed, pre-trip planning assistance, pre-departure safety briefing, gear check and weigh-in, and an experienced guide to lead the party.
Once you reserve, you will receive an invoice to complete your purchase. Full payment is due by January 31, 2026. Failure to complete your purchase forfeits your deposit.
This excursion is suitable for beginners or intermediate hikers and can accommodate birdwatching.
Itinerary:
- hotel in Copper Harbor; pre-departure gear and safety review
- Isle Royal Queen IV to Rock Harbor; permitting, and hike to 3-Mile
- hike to Daisy Farm, optional hike on the Daisy Farm Trail to the Greenstone Ridge Lookout
- hike from Daisy Farm to 3-Mile via Ojibway Tower Trail to the Ojibway fire tower, along the ridge and descend on the Mt. Franklin Trail to 3-Mile OR along the Rock Harbor Trail to 3.Mile as per group wishes
- hike from 3-Mile to Rock Harbor and return to Copper Harbor via the Isle Royale Queen IV
